Our Philosophy

At The Wine Shop of Reading, we provide a comfortable and fun atmosphere in which to discover and experience the world of wine and cheese. We understand that our customers have varying levels of knowledge with respect to food and wine and therefore provide personal assistance, catering to your individual needs.

With an international selection of fine wines, beers, liquors, gourmet items and gift baskets, we can suit nearly every taste, occasion and pocketbook. Our wines range from a $6 bottle of South African Chardonnay to a $180 bottle of French Champagne, along with an assortment of over 50 imported cheeses, olives and other appetizers. We also offer an assortment of French chocolates, fine oils and vinegars, teas and cookies and many other delicacies.

Our experienced and knowledgeable staff prides itself on creating a down-to-earth atmosphere where the world of wine and cheese is non-intimidating and fun.

We are located directly off Main Street (Route 28) in Reading Center, several doors down from CVS Pharmacy.

Monday - Wednesday: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Thursday - Saturday: 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM
Sunday: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Closed on Easter Sunday, April 8th
